Support the Bend Collaborative Artist Summit

The Bend Collaborative Artist Summit is an experiment in what happens when artists stop working in isolation and start building something together.

This inaugural Summit is a pilot program, designed to explore the creative process in a live setting that is completely free and open to the public. Over the course of three days, participating artists will navigate the challenges of relinquishing individual control in order to co-create large-scale works as a team. The resulting friction, breakthroughs and outcomes will be documented in a short film. 

This is an intentional, hands-on event built from the ground up here in Bend. We are looking forward to highlighting this brave and talented group of artists willing to step outside their normal patterns and environment and explore what becomes possible when placed in the same room with the space, support, and collaborative energy to create freely.

Your contribution helps make that happen. Funds go directly toward the infrastructure for creation, specifically:

• Lodging for non-local artists traveling to Bend
• Materials and supplies used during collaborative art exhibitions
• Marketing and outreach to build a strong, engaged audience
• Production of a documentary capturing the process and outcomes

If this first year lands the way we believe it will, it opens the door for something much bigger:

• More artists selected with increasingly focused specialization
• Artist-led workshops and public access opportunities
• A dedicated track for younger and emerging artists
