Collection: ABSTRACT LANDSCAPES

This collection of abstract landscapes explores the emotional weight of place rather than its literal geography. Mountain forms emerge and dissolve through thick layers of acrylic, palette knife work, and exposed texture, creating surfaces that feel carved rather than painted. Horizons blur, skies fracture, and flashes of heat or neon interrupt otherwise subdued atmospheres. These works are less about depicting a scene and more about capturing the tension, pressure, and movement that live within it.

Across the series, recurring peaks and valleys become metaphors for resilience and internal terrain. Dense impasto contrasts with open space; darkness settles against luminous breaks of light. Each canvas displays evidence of its own struggled creation, inviting the viewer to experience the landscape as something both external and deeply personal.
